Research and teaching in the Management of Organizations (MORS) group focuses on the sociological and psychological processes within organizations.  Core themes of the group include judgment and decision making, status and power, diversity, innovation, negotiations and conflict resolution, non-verbal interaction, culture, social networks, and entrepreneurship.  Faculty in the MORS group train students at all levels (undergraduate, MBA, PhD., and executive levels) to understand how these core themes affect organizational performance and the impact that organizations have on society.  Students learn to analyze complex organizations, identify the causes of suboptimal performance, and develop and implement effective interventions at the micro and/or macro levels.
